Succubytch

Wow! This is an old one I finally got around to coloring...9 1/2" x 11" pen&ink illustration painted in Photoshop using only burn&dodge tools (trying something different). This is a cartoon rendition of a succubus, once a main antagonist, from the AD universe-an apocalyptic series of tales told from different perspectives.

Miss Devilonia

Evilera Devilonia, one of the stars of the paranormal action series "The Strangers"... 9 1/2" x 11" pen & ink illustration painted using Photoshop CS2. The piss-poor thinness of the line work compounded with a bad scan, caused this image to be plagued with artifacts and poor quality lines. I persevered nevertheless. Meh. Not happy with the overall end product...try again.

Work in Progress #5

Welcome to Dodge City, feat. Vigil, Andy...9 1/2" x 11", pen & ink illustration, to be painted sooner or later. Vigil, Andy is always up for a good old fashioned shootout!

Necrow

Another inside cover doodle, I do it a lot. A supporting character from the apocalyptic "AD" universe...3" x 5", pen & ink illustration digitally finished in Photoshop. Not much you can say about Necrow; what you see is what you get, basically.

Vigil, Andy's Mask

This is Vigil, Andy. He's a psychopathic killer. This was also part of a collage of doodles on the back inside cover of one of my blackbooks...2"x 2" pen & ink illustration digitally painted in Photoshop. The "smoke"was actually smoke coming from the chimney in the "AD" doodle on the same page (see above) and I decided to keep it with the Vigil, Andy bust to keep the piece from looking like a disembodied head.

Leatherneck

Leatherneck achieved...9 1/2" x 11" b&w illustration digitally painted in Photoshop, as always. I'm not thrilled with this color scheme; I'll probably do a couple of variant schemes until I find the one I like. Leatherneck is part of a meta human field operations unit set within the "Evidence" universe.

And Again...

This "in repose" rendition of Itep was a work in progress for awhile, could never get around to it...9 1/2" x 11", pen & ink illustration digitally finished with Photoshop. Just add your own tranquil background, blank is tranquil enough for me.

Itep Again

Yep, it's Itep again, a simple mugshot doodle...2" x 2" pen & ink sketch, scanned and painted in Photoshop. Another shout out to Aragone's as far as styles are concerned. This is actually a style I have only started using over the last couple of years. I prefer realism but I am looking to perfect a more freestyle, cartoony look for versatility.

Work in Progress #4

Leatherneck from the conspiracy superhero series "Evidence"...9 1/2" X 11" pencil drawing scanned into Photoshop in high contrast black & white. I'll get around to coloring this one sooner or later. Leatherneck is a villain obviously.

The Cape

Random character creation...9 1/2" x 11", b&w illustration digitally painted in Photoshop, complete with nifty effects. I was going to end up using this character for a futuristic vigilante story, she had a back story and everything, but I scrapped the whole concept. The Cape is all that remains.

Work in Progress #3

Character design for "The Strangers"...9 1/2" x 11", pen & ink. Fun Fact: I was trying to go for a Shakira parody with this concept, with very little reference to go by as I am absolutely NOT a fan. Did I succeed?

Work in Progress #2

The Virtuoso, from an upcoming sci-fi serial entitled "Pleroma"...9 1/2" x 11" pen & ink. Currently in the process of finishing this piece using a mouse for the time being(my tablet is in the shop LOL). It's going to be awhile.

Work in Progress #1

A random drawing of a dinosaur/dragon hybrid...pen & ink thumbnail sketch. This one is currently being painted in Photoshop in my spare time. Will post update when finished, whenever that will be.

Puppet Hung

A quick doodle, not much to say about this one...pen&ink sketch, half-assed on Photoshop. This is another commission that trashed out early, so it remains unfinished. I meant to add more gradients and highlights for the fabric but lost interest once it became pointless to continue.

Firecracka

Another from the GoddaM Pinup Series...9 1/2" x 11", b&w illustration scanned and painted in Photoshop, censored for public consumption. She is the leader of a band of faeries that torment a pubescent boy nicknamed Boner, awkward hilarity ensues!

Maniacal Champion

That's right, Itep again...9 1/2" x 11", b&w illustration and digitally painted using Photoshop CS2. There used to be a flashy background complete with speed lines for effect but I got rid of it. Made the overall illustration too busy.

Beeyotch!!!

A piece of artwork from the GoddaM Pinup Series, censored for public consumption...9 1/2" x 11", b&w illustration painted in Photoshop. This one, and a couple of others in the series, is targeting the "furry" audience. w/e.

Thinking Man BC

Let's take a break from Itep before we see him again...9 1/2" x 11", b&w illustration and painted in Photoshop using a damned mouse! This was a commissioned illustration for a website(caveman.com or some other) that never took off and I kept it for my personal portfolio. I was glad to accomplish some type of success with this illustration, given the circumstances.

Whiteout

Itep the Wicked, again...11" x 9 1/2", b&w illustration scanned and painted using Photoshop CS2. I guess I'll use him one day in a fantasy story, but mostly I use him for practice when I can't think of anything else to draw.

Bloody Waters

featuring Itep the Wicked...9 1/2" x 11" b&w illustration, scanned into Photoshop and digitally painted. I draw this character constantly and his armor and belt adornments are always different; an homage to Sergio Aragone's Groo the Wanderer.
